Marble Festival Parade The Georgia Marble Festival is held the first weekend of October each year in Jasper, GA. We would like to see if there is any interest in marching in the parade this year. The parade will be on Saturday October 6th at 10:00am Please email Patti at Patti@greytfriends.org if you are interested in participating in the parade.

| Greyt Friends Fall Reunion
will be held on Sunday, Oct 21 at 2:00pm. We will be at Oregon Park in
Marietta. Bring your Greyhound(s), blankets, lunch and be prepared for
good time with friends and our extended greyhound family. Please RSVP so that we know how many people and greys to plan for. Email greytfriendsinc@hotmail.com or call Dee at 770-971-8788.

Obedience Classes When: Starting August 6th for 6 weeks Time: 7pm Where: Best Friends - 1087 Johnson Ferry Road NE Marietta Cost: $60 for Greyt Friends Adoptees and their Greyhounds If you would like to help with the class and have extra hands, we can provide you with a greyhound to "take thru the paces" There is no charge for those volunteers who are fostering a greyhound Please email Dee at GreytFriendsInc@hotmail.com or Tara at TStorck@bellsouth.net to reserve your space. Children are welcome to come with their parents so that they may also learn commands! We will let you know if you need to bring particular items such as your greys favorite treats, leashes or muzzle, dog mat or blanket or xpen. It's GREYT FUN to be with other greyhound owners and we learn lots from each other and their experiences with their greyhounds..

GPA Montgomery Anniversary POSTPONED - due to Weather - more info to come on when it will be rescheduled for. GPA in Montgomery will be celebrating their 1 year anniversary with a Picnic Fundraiser at Chewacla State Park in Auburn, AL. on Sept 2, 2007. Greyt Friends has worked very closely with Amy, the director of GPA Montgomery, over this year and she has allowed us to bring in so many of our wonderful greys that we have adopted out.
